From June 4 to June 17 2018, North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) is asking members of Northern NSW and Mid North Coast communities to fill out an online survey on the topic of health services. The survey will ask for people’s experience and views about barriers and challenges in accessing and using local health services.
Everyone who completes the survey will have the opportunity to go into a draw to win one of five $200 grocery vouchers.
The survey is available at: https://hnc.org.au/speakup
What use is the survey?
This information is vital to North Coast Primary Health Network to ensure we create the best health solutions for each North Coast community in the future. We are asking questions that no other official survey has asked before.
NCPHN’s Acting Chief Executive Sharyn White said the information gained from the community survey was unique and important and focuses on gaps in current knowledge about health services, their use and challenges.
“Since 2016, NCPHN has funded 175 local organisations and health providers to deliver services to fill gaps and improve the health of people across the North Coast,” she added.
How long will it take?
The survey will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete and all the information gathered is confidential.
How will the information be used?
NCPHN will analyse the information provided and draw from it insights and conclusions. The findings from the survey, as well as data about the region, will be presented and discussed with local community members during September 2018. More information about the survey results will be available online.
Survey information is available to the community
Our 2016 Community Survey findings are accessible in easy to read fact sheets. Find them here: https://hnc.org.au/needs-assessment/fact-sheets
These fact sheets will be updated when we have compiled the 2018 Community Survey information.
