In the first two weeks of September, North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) will be holding a series of presentations across its footprint to share findings and insights from a recent survey asking community members about their experience of local health services.
More than 3,300 Mid and North Coast locals completed the survey, offering valuable and unique information about accessibility, health challenges, health service providers and service quality in their communities. The most popular age group to complete the survey was the 55-64 year age group, accounting for 27% of respondents (North Coast residents aged 15 years and older).
The largest number of responses per Local Government Area came from Lismore (15%), then Port Macquarie-Hastings (14%), Coffs Harbour (13%), Ballina (11%) and Tweed Heads (11%).
The presentations will take place at morning teas and North Coast Primary Health Network is looking forward to sharing the survey findings and insights with community members and health professionals at these free events.
