The Muli Warriors Aboriginal RLFC will be hosting an all-inclusive touch football tournament over 12–13 June 2021. The purpose of the tournament is to help the Githabul nation close the gap in the aftermath of the bushfires and aid reconciliation in the wider Kyogle/Northern NSW community.
The tournament aims to build strong relationships with non-Indigenous people/businesses within the Kyogle area with the hopes of getting the township on board with future events. The goal is to raise money through canteen/raffles on the day to continue work towards mental health and aid healthy life styles for all members of the Muli Muli community building on resilience when dealing with such trauma like the bushfires.
