CAFSS is for people aged 16 years and older who need help with drug and/or alcohol use. This includes related mental health support.
The program is based in Murwillumbah and operates for 12 weeks at a time as well as offering once-a-week counselling sessions designed to help people reach their goals.
The service provides assessment and support, brief treatment interventions, and referrals to other services that can help with health, education and employment issues.
The CAFSS program is also available to families, carers, and friends of people misusing alcohol and/or other drugs
This is one of several key programs adopted on the North Coast to address alcohol and other drugs misuse and improve mental health services in our region.
