This funding is to support children aged under 12 years with mild to moderate mental ill-health and their parents/carers living in Casino. The service model will test approaches that ensure children and their families/carers are supported to access the level of clinical care and/or therapeutic support they need to make a difference to their immediate and long-term health outcomes.
The service is led by Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation along with a consortium of general practices which includes Riverside General Practice, the Maria Clinic and the Casino Medical Centre.
