Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service (ACMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Primary Health Service. For over 40 years, Durri ACMS has provided essential and culturally appropriate health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people located in Kempsey, Nambucca Heads, and surrounding communities.
About the role
To provide clinical leadership, supervision, and high-quality medical care to the
Aboriginal community served by Durri ACMS. The SMO will support clinical
governance, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery aligned with Durri’s mission and values.
Selection criteria
Essential:
1. Tertiary qualification in Medicine.
2. Unconditional registration with the NSW Medical Board.
3. Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and patient care.
4. Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (FRACGP, FACRRM).
5. Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MPH).
6. Accreditation as a GP Supervisor.
7. Experience working in Aboriginal Health and with diverse stakeholders including community health and public health.
8. Ability to obtain National Police Check and Working with children clearance.
9. Current valid Driver’s Licence (Class C or equivalent).
