Caringa is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join its team as a Registered Nurse/Clinical Educator based at its headquarters in Grafton.

About the Role
Working alongside a colleague, the Registered Nurse/Clinical Educator will form part of a team providing clinical nursing expertise and leadership to individual clients and groups. The role plays a critical part in the education, mentoring and professional development of frontline workers across the organisation.
The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, coordination, development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocols and standards that support the delivery of safe and effective clinical care and education. They will also coordinate, implement and evaluate strategies that build clinical competence across the organisation, particularly in relation to the NDIS High Intensity Support Skill Descriptors.
This position supports the delivery of safe, high-quality care for all Caringa clients, including those with complex clinical needs.
Essential Requirements
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in clinical education and training delivery
- Current NSW Driver Licence (minimum Class C)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement (employee responsibility)
Knowledge and Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- A minimum of 2–3 years post-registration nursing experience
- Experience providing education, mentoring and support to staff and colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing clinical and professional development
- Sound theoretical knowledge and experience using a range of teaching and learning strategies, including e-learning platforms
- Evidence of professional leadership and maintenance of contemporary clinical competence
- Advanced computer skills, including the development and delivery of education programs, maintenance of training records and report generation
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Initiative and the ability to work autonomously within delegated responsibilities
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Effective time management skills with flexibility to respond to operational requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, privacy and work within a position of trust
