Seeking RN/Div1 Nurse with General Practice experience to become an integral member of the team. On offer is a flexible FT/PT/casual position where you can make a great contribution to the running of our practice and the quality of care we deliver to our valued patients.
Reporting to practice manager and principle GP, you will be responsible for (however not limited to) the following:
- Triage
- Immunisations
- Venepuncture
- Wound care
- ECGs
- Infection control, sterilisation
- Recalls and clinical reminders
- Assist with chronic disease management (care plans, health assessments)
- Assisting doctors with procedures and tasks
- Stock maintenance and ordering
- Management of recall and reminder systems
- Maintain documentation to accreditation standards
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Previous general practice experience (highly desirable)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Willingness to learn
- Flexibility and ability to work as required (fortnightly rosters)
- Exceptional patient care
- Demonstrated initiative, time management and flexibility
- Proficient computer skills (knowledge of Medical Director and PracSoft is highly advantageous)
- Nurse immuniser preferred but not essential
