Seeking an Occupational Therapist to join existing OTs on a permanent (full time or part time) or contract basis, for an incredibly varied clinical therapy role. Either immediate or delayed start date to be negotiated.
A typical day in the position means you could be assessing an individual’s independence in the home and making recommendations about support services; prescribing equipment; helping a child with sensory integration/processing of stimuli; improving client independence through increasing hand function; working with a teen around transition to high school; developing a client’s socialisation and relationship building skills; performing pressure care; cognitive retraining with clients; developing a mental health support plan; developing supported independent living plans; undertaking home modification assessments.
