Healthy North Coast is seeking a suitably experienced person for the position of Medical Educator (Part-time – 16 hours per week)
The Medical Educator supports the delivery of high quality continuous professional development for GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals across NNSW. The Medical Educator is responsible for ensuring that education in NNSW follows clinical best practice and evidence-based guidelines, is inclusive of local primary health care clinical perspectives, and is engaging and dynamic.
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Education, and working within a small tight knit team, you will be responsible for assessing professional development needs and designing educational schedules and topics. The Medical Educator will build strong partnerships with GPs, other primary care clinicians and health managers across the region to support high quality, ongoing learning and development. The Medical Educator will also play a key role in supporting clinical societies across the region in collaboration with Healthy North Coast staff and external partners.
