Healthy North Coast is seeking a GP to support our HealthPathways and Education teams in an exciting role that will support the integration these programs, ensuring excellence and consistency in the development and publication of HealthPathways and delivery of medical education across the Mid North Coast Region.
Working with a team of Health Pathways Clinical Editors, Program Coordinators, Education and Events Coordinators and Medical Educators, you will provide clinical leadership in the design, development and delivery of local HealthPathways and medical education. This role requires the ability to build strong partnerships with GPs, other health professionals and health managers to support high-quality education outcomes, improve communication between acute and primary care, and promote the uptake of HealthPathways as a trusted source of clinical information. You will have the opportunity to contribute to regional health system improvement initiatives and ensure program activities follow clinical best practice and evidence-based guidelines, are inclusive of primary care clinical perspectives and are culturally safe.
Applicants require excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking and time management skills, and FRACGP or FACRRM qualifications. Experience supporting or providing medical education and at least 5 years recent experience practicing in the Mid North Coast region is highly desirable.
This exciting permanent part-time position is available for 16 hours per week.
