A terrific opportunity has become available with a NFP that has provided quality care to residents for almost 50 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Executive Care Manager to oversee the provision of clinical care to residents living in three aged care facilities and in homes across the Nambucca and Macleay Valleys.
You will be welcomed into this role by a great, supportive team of RNs, Clinical Care Coordinators, Home and Community Care Coordinators and Quality and Compliance staff.

- Successful applicant will be a clinical leader (registered nurse) with the ability to work collaboratively and lead a passionate team
- Provide the framework for delivering clinical excellence across three large, aged care facilities and a growing home/community care team

What’s essential to bring to this role
- Between 7-10 years demonstrated management skills, ideally in an aged care related setting
- Current AHPRA registration
- Tertiary nursing qualification
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly developed organisational skills and experience in human resource management and budget management
- COVID-19 vaccination, including booster
- Current and clear NDIS Check
- Well-developed working knowledge of contemporary aged care including but not limited to:
- Aged care funding systems (ACFI)
- Aged Care Act 1997 and amendments
- Aged care quality standards
- Contemporary practice in aged care
- Home and community care programs
- Rostering and staff management
- Current drivers licence

- Broad experience leading and engaging a multicultural and diverse team
- Membership of industry reference groups, committees or associations
