Creation of New My Health Records
Records will be created within 30 days for every eligible Australian who wants one. Once created, individuals will be able to log in to your My Health Record through their your myGov account and start managing your information and preferences.
Healthcare providers will also be able to start uploading and viewing information in patient records.
As more people use the My Health Record system, Australia’s national health system will become better connected. The result is safer, faster and more efficient care for patients and their family. Learn more about the benefits of My Health Record.

Expiring NASH and Medicare PKI Certificates
Helpful Tips:
- If the certificates have never been ordered through the Provider Digital Access Portal (PRODA), the practice will get a letter from DHS informing them that the NASH and/or Medicare PKI is due to expire.
- The new certificate will only be able to be ordered via PRODA.
- Once ordered through PRODA future expiry notifications will only happen via the PRODA mailbox.
- The old NASH certificate needs to be deleted from BP & MD before the new one will take effect.
- Keep a record of the MEDICARE & NASH Certificate expiry dates and be aware when they come due for renewal.
- If you haven’t ordered NASH or Medicare PKI certificates from PRODA before, the expiry dates will be on their previously issued discs.
