By the end of 2018, every Australian will have a My Health Record unless they choose not to have one. My Health Record is a secure online summary of your health information. Healthcare providers can access timely information about patients such as shared health summaries, discharge summaries, prescription and dispense records, pathology reports and diagnostic imaging reports.
The North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) is working with the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) to provide My Health Record education and updates for healthcare providers. There will be events in Port Macquarie on 27 and 28 June 2018. They will be interactive events for all health practitioners and practice staff.
Participants will be introduced to the My Health Record system and explore its features, functionalities, benefits and uses. The session will prepare participants for the My Health Record Expansion and provide an opportunity to workshop with participants, ADHA and NCPHN to ensure a collaborative approach.
As a healthcare provider, you are at the frontline of patient and consumer questions. This session will give you the best ability to answer them and direct people where to find more information.
