National Palliative Care Week (19-25 May 2024) aims to connect Australians with the ‘people at the heart of quality palliative care’ – the doctors, nurses, social workers, volunteers, and many others, to encourage a deeper understanding of what palliative care is.
Join Healthy North Coast for a live webinar on Monday 20 May 6–7pm, where we will introduce our new suite of educational webinars for primary care, highlighting regional services and providers.
CEO of Palliative Care NSW, Kirsty Blades will speak about the importance of demystifying palliative care within the community.
You will also learn about Healthy North Coast’s ‘Community Conversations’ that are being held during National Palliative Care Week in collaboration with Palliative Care NSW and MNC and NNSW Local Health Districts.
Community Conversations is for ALL members of the community who are interested in learning more about community supports and services available in relation to ageing, loss, dying and grief. Building knowledge on end-of-life matters is proven to have a positive impact on quality of life when that time comes.
