Changes to MBS Items – Eating Disorders

From 1 November 2019, a suite of 64 new Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items will be introduced to support evidence-based care for eligible patients experiencing an eating disorder. The changes include 34 new items for dietetic and mental health services provided by allied health professionals to patients with anorexia nervosa and other eligible eating disorders.

New Diabetes High Risk Foot Services

The Northern NSW Local Health District has recently launched High Risk Foot Services at the Tweed, Lismore Base, Grafton District and Maclean Hospitals.
