Weight management in adults: A broader, patient-centred approach
The Weight Management in Adults HealthPathway has been updated to reflect current evidence, national policy, and local service arrangements. This pathway has been localised for our region and developed in conjunction with local endocrinologists, general physicians and allied health clinicians. It places stronger emphasis on the complex biological, psychological, social and environmental determinants of weight.

Nurse Re-entry Program: Host a nurse in your practice
The Nurse Re-entry Program is an Australian Government initiative supporting general practices to build their capability by hosting nurses in supervised placements. The program helps nurses who haven’t practised in the last 5-10 years to return to the workforce through paid, supervised placements in general practice. It also supports nurse practitioners transitioning into general practice.
