Upcoming changes to National Immunisation Program
Changes to the National Immunisation Program (NIP) will soon come into effect. From 1 July 2023, hexavalent vaccine Vaxelis® will be added to the NIP. Vaxelis® is used in primary vaccination series against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, poliomyelitis and invasive infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b (DTPa-hepB-IPV-Hib) for children at 2, 4 and 6 months
