Healthy North Coast is recruiting a team of part-time clinical educators to lead the delivery of high quality continuous professional development for GPs, nurses and allied health professionals across the North Coast.
Four exciting part-time (8 hours per week) positions are available for two GPs and two nurse educators who are passionate about improving community health outcomes and nurturing the development of practising primary health care professionals through integrated and multidisciplinary continuing professional development.
Educators will be responsible for ensuring that Healthy North Coast (HNC) education:
- follows clinical best practice and evidence-based guidelines;
- is inclusive of local primary health care clinical perspectives; and
- is engaging and dynamic.
Educators will be responsible for assessing professional development needs and designing educational schedules and topics. They will develop and deliver engaging educational content in collaboration with speakers and clinical society and nurse networks and use tools to evaluate the effectiveness of education and training activities. Educators will also play a key role in supporting clinical societies and nurse networks across the region in collaboration with Healthy North Coast staff and external partners.
The position is permanent part-time 8 hours per week with the base location negotiable (Ballina, Lismore, Tweed Heads, Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie).
