The Kempsey Macleay Clinical Society invites practice nurses and managers, GPs and their registrars, exercise physiologists, dietitians, physiotherapists, pharmacists, Aboriginal health workers and other primary care providers to register for its first face-to-face dinner event of 2021. This event will explore the challenges obesity presents to the Macleay community.
Working Together to Manage Obesity in the Macleay will explore allied health options in the weight loss journey and other services that are available in the Macleay region. Michael Kemp, a physiotherapist from Keystone Health will lead the discussion, supported by a local GP, dietitian, exercise physiologist, clinical psychologist and Aboriginal health worker.
The goal of the Kempsey Macleay Clinical Society is to see this clinician-focused panel discussion lead into a community-facing event on managing obesity.
As well as discuss obesity, this forum will provide an opportunity to learn more about Healthy North Coast’s newly launched Clinical Society framework and what support is available to societies.
A certificate of attendance will be provided and we encourage you to self-submit for CPD/PDP.
