Healthy living and ageing (HLA) is one of HNC’s top priorities and our HLA team are working passionately on initiatives to help people live and age well in community and aged care.
Two fabulous opportunities are available for capable, energetic co-ordinators with a talent for great communication and strong administration skills, to be at the heart of the team.
Coordinator – Healthy Living and Ageing Projects
This role provides support to several important Healthy Living and Ageing Projects to make sure they are delivered well. You’ll be pivotal in co-ordinating, completing and reporting on activities across specific projects, working with the team to solve problems and support stakeholders too.
You will have:
- a background in health, aged care or social services
- previous project co-ordination experience, ideally in a health or social care setting
- strong organisational and administrative skills, including document management and reporting
- a good grasp on processes, procedures and governance
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with complex stakeholder groups
- flexibility to handle changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic project environment
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and digital project management and other collaboration tools
Coordinator – Healthy Living and Ageing Program
In this role, you will support the execution of HNC’s overall Healthy Ageing Strategy. This includes the development of new initiatives, sector engagement, the delivery of existing and business-as-usual Healthy Living and Ageing activities, communications, administration, and reporting. This role also includes contract support for of one of our key commissioned services and the implementation of a significant community – based initiative.
You will have:
- ability to research and assimilate data and develop concepts for presentation
- experience in community engagement and development
- analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and find practical solutions
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital collaboration tools
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- an innovative and creative way of thinking
