GPs
This interactive session invites participants to reflect on their own wellbeing and the values that guide their work. Together, we explore the internal and external barriers that often prevent clinicians from engaging in self-care—including shame, high expectations, fear of consequences, and time constraints—and how these can increase the risk of burnout over time. Using real-life examples, participants will be supported to develop a personalised “bushfire plan” to prepare for personal and professional challenges, to recognise early warning signs, and to take action when it’s needed. The session creates space for honest reflection, peer connection, and shared strategies—offering practical steps toward a more sustainable and values-aligned professional life.
