Training is available via the University of Newcastle to help your pregnant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients tackle smoking.
The iSISTAQUIT program is a multi-component intervention aimed at improving health providers’ provision of smoking cessation care to pregnant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
iSISTAQUIT is seeking interest from health providers of mainstream services that are interested in receiving the iSISTAQUIT training. Your organisation will be identified as an ‘early adopter’ of the project.
The iSISTAQUIT program provides training to health professionals via webinars, a treatment manual and resources to aid smoking cessation care.
