Speech Pathology student clinics will be operating at the Southern Cross University (SCU) Lismore Campus from 24 July 2018. Appointments will be available on Tuesdays for adults with speech and language impairments as a result of:
- Stroke and head injury
- Parkinson’s disease
- Dementia
- Other neurological conditions
Individual and group sessions are available.
To make a referral (including self-referral) please contact the clinic on (02) 6626 9131 or email [email protected].
These are professional and affordable services at $15 per session.
SCU requests that referred clients are generally medically stable, present with no significant cognitive/behavioural issues, and that they can use the toilet independently or with support from a carer who is guaranteed to attend sessions.
SCU also welcomes attendance from family and other carers as we are able to provide education and broader support services beyond the client with the impairment.
