Dr Richard Arnot is now taking referrals to his bulk-billing practice at Southern Cross University Health Clinic in Lismore.
He is offering general surgical consultations and minor surgical procedures one and a half days a week. This includes excision of skin lesions, including the face, involving simple closure, minor skin flaps or skin grafts.

Dr Arnot trained at St Andrews University in Scotland and, following a year in the Merchant Navy, started surgical training in Cape Town. He then completed a rotation through hospitals in England including the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Royal Marsden. He is a fellow of the Edinburgh and Australasian Colleges of Surgery, and holds a Master of Surgery degree from the University of Cape Town.
Dr Arnot began surgical practice in Australia in 1981 in Inverell, moved to Lismore in 2001, and has worked as a surgical locum in rural hospitals throughout Australia from 2007 until 2018.
