Individuals have told the Australian Digital Health Agency they would like to hear information about My Health Record from their trusted general practitioner. Patients may come to you for advice about My Health Record.
General practice, pharmacies and hospitals will receive My Health Record information toolkits before the opt-out period commences. The toolkit has information and resources to assist you in answering patient enquiries. It also has resources like posters, brochures and fact sheets. You can give these to patients from 16 July when discussing the benefits of having a My Health Record.
NCPHN can also help you get ready, including face-to-face training if required. Please contact Amanda Wilkinson at [email protected] or phone (02) 6618 5400.
