The Australian Digital Health Agency is completing a review of clinical software to learn more about how GPs are interacting with My Health Record. GPs are requested to allow a researcher from the Agency team to observe some patient consultations.
The Agency aims to select one practice for each software vendor/version listed here:
Observations would take place over three working days per practice, from March to April. No personal or health data will be captured or shared as part of the project.
Participating GPs will be remunerated for assisting with the project. Researchers intend to interview practice managers, practice nurses and staff engaged in eHealth or digital health coordination within the practice. Remuneration will also be provided to staff who consent to be interviewed.
Findings from the review will be used to improve usability and identify opportunities to innovate.
