CWRP – Oz Green-Global Rivers Environmental Education Network

This project will deliver evidence-based personal and community resilience programs that give participants tools and strategies to prepare for and recover from future disasters.

Personal resilience programs will give participants the skills and strategies to build better mental health and emotional wellbeing through evidence-based trauma informed practices.

Community resilience programs will encourage social connections, neighbourhood support networks and civic leadership opportunities relating to disaster preparedness.

Environmental resilience will be achieved by engaging the community in environmental stewardship activities that contribute to renewing and restoring vulnerable river ecosystems.
