Celebrating & Connecting Queer Black Mob

1. Celebrating Queer Black Mob Mural

Led by a Bundjalung artist, the mural will reflect queer black mob (LGBTIQ+ Indigenous people) experiences of Country, including the 2019–20 bushfires that affected over 400,000 hectares of Bundjalung Country.

2. Renewal of Country – planting local native trees

Elders and Bush Fruits (LGBTIQ+) Landcare Group will collaborate to identify local native trees (11 shade trees/12 native fruit trees), identifying trees of significance to Elders.

3. Connecting the Dots

A celebration to connect the dots between the mural and renewal projects to culminate in a celebration of queer black mob at the Tropical Fruits Clubhouse.
