Chronic kidney disease

Webinars for North Coast health professionals

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) represents a major challenge for patients and the healthcare system.

Approximately 1.7 million Australians aged 18 years and over have indicators of CKD, and due to the high costs associated with dialysis and transplantation, kidney disease costs the Australian health system an estimated $5.1 billion each year. Indigenous Australians are at increased risk of CKD.

We’ve partnered with Kylie Wyndham, CKD Nurse Consultant at Northern NSW Local Health District, to deliver three webinars to help your understanding of CKD.
