Take part in the RTPM Clinical Safety Survey

The Australian Digital Health Agency is inviting health practitioners to complete a short survey on Real Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM).

The Australian Digital Health Agency is inviting health practitioners to complete a short survey on Real Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM).

The survey is seeking feedback on how it’s used in practice, including its integration with clinical workflows and its role in supporting safer prescribing and dispensing decisions.

Feedback will help inform ongoing improvements to RTPM and ensure the system continues to support safer medicines use across Australia.

RTPM gives authorised health practitioners real-time access to a patient’s prescribing and dispensing history for high-risk medicines, such as opioids and benzodiazepines, supporting safer clinical decision-making at the point of care. While RTPM is a national system, each state and territory governs its own variant. In NSW, RTPM operates as SafeScript NSW.

Take the survey.

  • Takes approx 15 minutes to complete
  • Once started, it remains accessible for one week
  • Responses are anonymous, to support confidentiality

We encourage eligible members to take part in the survey and help shape the ongoing development of RTPM. For further information or any questions:
