Get local health information, at the point of care
Our Mid and North Coast HealthPathways website is like a ‘care map’, so that all members of a health care team, whether they work in a hospital or the community, can be on the same page when it comes to looking after a particular person.
HealthPathways are designed to be used at the point of care, primarily for general practitioners but also for hospital specialists, nurses, allied health professionals and others.
HealthPathways contain information on how to assess, manage and refer in the local context of available services, including pre-referral work up requirements, ensuring faster access for patients.
Mid and North Coast HealthPathways is developed by Healthy North Coast in partnership with Mid North Coast Local Health District and Northern NSW Local Health District.
Create Your HealthPathways Account
Register or sign in for free access to HealthPathways with an individualised username and password.
Your HealthPathways account provides access to localised clinical and referral advice as well as features to support your practice including:
- CPD reporting – track your pathway usage and download a CPD report to submit to your CPD home
- The ability to request access to other HealthPathways regions for out of area referrals
- A guide to commonly used MBS items
Important: Access via the generic HealthPathways “manchealth” login will be discontinued on 19 October 2026. From this date, all users will need an individual account to access Mid and North Coast HealthPathways.
We encourage all users to create their personal account before 19 October 2026 to avoid any interruption to access.

HealthPathways Evaluation
In 2020 – 2021, Healthy North Coast, together with partners, Mid North Coast Local Health District and Northern NSW Local Health District, commissioned a process and outcomes evaluation of the Mid and North Coast HealthPathways program.
The evaluation identified strengths in the program as a trusted and reliable source of local clinical information at the point of care. This also supports relationship-building across different levels of the health system and improvements to regional models of care.
The HealthPathways team is working closely with partner and clinicians to implement recommendations from the evaluation report.
