About
Scott is a finance and operations executive with 20 years’ experience in health and human services.
Background
Scott has held Chief Finance Officer roles in rural and remote hospital and health service (including in the Torres Strait), in pre-hospital care with Qld Ambulance Service, and primary care and allied health with his experience in the medical education and general practice sectors. He has developed significant change management agendas and process improvements, including a financial management turn around program, which have delivered improved governance, financial sustainability and better healthcare outcomes for the organisations he has worked with.
As well as finance, Scott has also lead teams across corporate services streams including People and Culture, Payroll, IT, Risk Management, Audit and Property Management.
Scott holds a CPA designation, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has provided his expertise as a board member to organisations in both the primary care and emergency care sectors.
