Sigrid is committed to improving access and equity, diversity and inclusion in healthcare and improving health outcomes. With more than 30 years’ experience in government and non-government organisations, Sigrid has an extensive background in social policy, health system improvement and reform, and leadership of whole-of-government programs,
Background
Sigrid has led several multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver robust evidence and information to inform policy, conduct evaluations, manage NGO grants and translational research commissioning programs ,information management and governance in the areas of youth homelessness and mental health, population ageing and healthy ageing, population health and health services and infrastructure planning, health research and value-based healthcare. She is experienced in change management, systems thinking, leadership and is passionate about supporting teams to achieve their best. She has worked at local, state and international levels throughout her career.
Sigrid was a Statutory Board member of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board for several years where she actively advocated for the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, older people and LGBTQI+ communities. Sigrid holds a Master of Public Health, Master of Evaluation, Executive Master of Public Administration, Grad Cert in Population Health Research Methods and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Political/Policy Science and Journalism.
