New termination of pregnancy HealthPathways live

A new Termination of Pregnancy (ToP) pathway is now live on HealthPathways, providing GPs with clear guidance on referral to the central intake Termination of Pregnancy service in Northern NSW.

The pathway outlines gestation-based timeframes from referral to appointment and procedure, including options for medical and surgical ToP, telehealth availability, service levels required, and escalation for later gestations in line with NSW legislation.

This pathway aims to support timely, safe, and equitable access to care, reduce delays, and ensure women are referred to the right service at the right time.
