Join the Building Nurse Capacity program for healthy ageing

The Healthy Ageing – Building Nurse Capacity (BNC) program is a free education program that supports nurses in general practice and aged care to build confidence, strengthen skills, and lead proactive, coordinated care for older people.

Join us on Wednesday 11 December at 12.30pm for our next Community of Practice (CoP) event, where pilot practice ambassadors will share how they’ve used the program to strengthen care and support their teams.

You’ll also hear updates on the new Assignment of Benefit arrangements and mental health changes, helping your practice stay informed and ready to adapt.

By 2030, nearly 30% of North Coast residents will be aged 65 or older, creating a growing need for proactive, coordinated care. The BNC program helps practices respond to this challenge by supporting sustainable, nurse-led models that strengthen team-based care.

The program is free to join, delivered by Primary Care Innovations and funded by Healthy North Coast through the Australian Government’s Primary Health Network program.

There’s no limit to how many nurses from your practice can participate.
