Important service update
From 1 July 2025, when you call North Coast Health Connect, your call will go to Healthdirect.
You will speak to a nurse who can give you free health advice any time, day or night. This change will make it easier to get the right care, at the right time, in the right place.

Local GP Access Model
If you’re a health professional, find out more about Healthy North Coast’s upcoming plans to improve access to primary care.
Through this model, local clinicians including pharmacists, allied health professionals and paramedics can book patients directly into quarantined general practice appointments using integrated digital tools.
These appointments are reserved for low-acuity, unplanned care needs, helping ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
