Programs provide practical skills, knowledge and resources that can be applied in everyday practice, while supporting a capable, confident and culturally responsive primary care workforce.
Cultural Safety training
Build knowledge and understanding to support culturally safe and respectful care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Training supports health professionals and practice teams to strengthen cultural awareness and apply culturally responsive approaches in their work.
Building Nurse Capacity Program
Supporting nurses working in primary care to strengthen their clinical skills, confidence and leadership. The program provides practical professional development designed around the evolving role of nurses in delivering high-quality, team-based primary care.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) training
Advanced Life Support training supports health professionals to develop and maintain the skills required to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and medical emergencies.
Chronic Disease Management
Bringing specialists directly into general practice to build GP capability and improve outcomes for patients with complex chronic conditions. The program pairs in-practice education with shared specialist consultations, strengthening how the whole care team manages diabetes and other complex disease close to home.
