ADHD Masterclass for general practitioners

GPs are invited to an in-person Masterclass in Woolgoolga to become an ADHD Continuation Prescriber.

General practitioners are invited to attend an ADHD Masterclass on Saturday 26 September at Wiigulga Sports Complex, Woolgoolga.

The practical, CPD-accredited workshop will cover current evidence and guidelines, ADHD assessment and diagnosis, medication, shared care and communication, NSW prescribing pathways and SafeScript, and practical case discussions.

Following completion, eligible GPs can apply to become an ADHD Continuation Prescriber for adults and children aged six years and over, supporting improved local access to ADHD care and stronger shared-care arrangements.

The masterclass is accredited for RACGP CPD/PDP points, with certificates of attendance provided. Participating GPs will also receive remuneration from Healthy North Coast.

The Masterclass is presented by the NSW Ministry of Health and Healthy North Coast, in partnership with Northern NSW and Mid North Coast Local Health Districts.
