Keeping residents safe this holiday season

As we enter the holiday season, residential aged care homes (RACHs) will see an increase in visitors as families travel from near and far to spend time with residents.

To help RACHs prepare for this busy period and manage the risks associated with warmer weather and higher visitor numbers, the Communicable Diseases Branch at Health Protection NSW has released its 2025 festive season advice to support safe and healthy celebrations.
