Objectives

The provider will deliver Aftercare – support and follow-up after a suicidal crisis, which is a digital aftercare model that:

  • Reduces the risk of repeat suicide attempts by providing timely, accessible, and person-centred digital aftercare
  • Complements existing services (e.g., The Way Back NSW) by offering scalable digital solutions that extend reach without duplicating one-to-one clinical supports

Improves equity of access for priority populations including:

  • Men aged 25-65
  • People experiencing or at risk of abuse
  • People living in regional, rural, and remote communities
  • Strengthens system integration by partnering with local providers, enhancing referral pathways, and enabling hybrid models of care
  • Deliverers continuous monitoring, risk management, and participant safety through robust governance and clinical oversight.
