Boost your immunity for a healthy community
Influenza (flu) and COVID-19 can be life-threatening and some people in our community are more at risk.
Stay up-to-date with routine vaccines and protect yourself, your family and your community. COVID-19 and flu vaccines can be given at the same time.
Speak to your local GP, Aboriginal medical service or participating pharmacy about booking your vaccination today.
Flu and COVID-19 vaccines can be given at the same time.
Yearly flu vaccination (shot) is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.
A flu shot is strongly recommended and is free for:
- People aged 65 years and over
- Children aged between 6 months and under 5 years
- People with certain medical conditions
- Pregnant women
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
All adults can get a COVID-19 booster if it’s been 6 months or longer since their last COVID–19 vaccination or confirmed infection (whichever is most recent).
A COVID–19 booster is recommended for people aged 65 years and over and people aged 18 years and over with medical conditions, disability or complex health needs.
