The WCSC was an initiative of North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) that ran from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2018 and was proudly supported by the Cancer Institute NSW.
The aim of the WCSC was to improve participation in breast and cervical cancer screening in the North Coast and Mid North Coast region of NSW.
By using a ‘Collaborative’ approach, the WCSC drew a long history of primary care quality improvement that supported practice-led change.
NCPHN developed a dedicated website for participating practices to work together to achieve improved breast and cervical cancer screening rates.
The Women’s Cancer Screening Collaborative was delivered in partnership with our integrated care team.
This poster showcases results from the project.
It was presented at the 2018 Innovations in Cancer Treatment and Care Conference.
