After successfully rolling out the electronic prescribing token model in Victoria, the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) has announced they are now focused on the rollout in Sydney, followed by a staged expansion across the rest of Australia.
To be ready for ePrescribing, there are some key digital requirements that general practices, Aboriginal Medical Services and pharmacies need to have in place — this will create the digital “loop” between prescribers and dispensers so that North Coast residents can use this ePrescribing option.
