The increased presence of COVID-19 in Victoria, and living under the necessary restrictions, is having a significant impact upon mental health within Victorian communities, which has led to increased demand upon the available mental health services.

Though there are current supports in place, to increase the mental health services available through PHN funding to Victorians, we have been advised by the Commonwealth Department of Health that extra supports from interstate may be required in the immediate future.
