We Are Open is a new Primary Care Impact initiative that provides funding to general practice and Aboriginal medical services to open for additional hours.

Healthy North Coast GP Telehealth is a free 24/7 service for residents in flood-affected communities. The service has been established to support service providers who may be closed or have reduced capacity and communities who have been impacted by flooding.

A temporary exemption has been issued from the legislative requirement that GPs can only provide a telehealth service where they have an established clinical relationship with the patient. GPs are now able to offer telehealth to any residents living within the affected postcodes.

Connect to Wellbeing is a free mental health information, assessment and referral line for North Coast residents and health practitioners. The service is open from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and provides referral to local services. Phone 1300 160 339 or visit Connect to Wellbeing North Coast.
