Clinicians can face complex diagnostic and treatment challenges when patients present with features of both borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A degree of clarity has been achieved since Complex PTSD was formally included in ICD-11, but diagnostic difficulties and treatment challenges persist.
Over the course of this conference, experts from the fields of BPD and complex trauma – separated for too long – will guide clinicians towards diagnostic clarity while informing treatment and research directions
