General practitioners have a pivotal role in the provision of sexual and reproductive healthcare in Australia. However, GPs have identified several challenges in being confident to provide sexual and reproductive health consultations to their patients.
This interactive online workshop provides GPs with an overview of sexual and reproductive health, including sexual history taking, STI screening and testing, and current contraceptive options.

- Describe effective sexual history taking in your practice setting
- Explain the importance of screening/testing and contact tracing for STIs
- Summarise the importance of accurate information for contraceptive choices
