Immunisation Community of Practice – Webinar 6

Principals of catch-up immunisation (part 2)

Facilitator: Dr Brett Lynam, General Practitioner and Health North Coast Clinical Advisor

Presenter: Carolyn Lloyd, Immunisation Coordinator, North Coast Public Health Unit

Our Q&A panel will also be joined by John Turahui, Immunisation Coordinator, North Coast Public Health Unit.

Join us for the final episode of our two-part series on catch-up immunisation.

Catch-up immunisation aims to provide optimal protection against disease as quickly as possible by completing a person’s recommended vaccination schedule in the shortest but most effective time frame. This includes assessing a patient’s vaccination history, applying the principals of catch-up immunisation and giving the appropriate vaccines.

In this webinar, we’ll take a look at catch-up immunisation for adolescents and adults and discuss serological testing.
