Join the Healthy North Coast team for dinner at the Surf Club Bar and Restaurant to discuss the Healthy North Coast CPD needs assessment and have your say on the 2022 CPD education calendar. We’ll hear from a vascular surgeon, Dr Eileen Morrisroe, about services and facilities now available for managing arterial and venous disorders in Coffs Harbour and the surrounding regions.
Dr Morrisroe recently commenced in Coffs Harbour and will be working in both the public and private hospitals. She trained in vascular and endovascular surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She further trained and performed research at Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge, UK) and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK).
With her focus on providing consistently high-quality individualised patient care, Dr Morrisroe specialises in minimally invasive treatments for arterial and venous disorders. She is passionate about patient care and holistic wellness.
Dr Morrisroe is highly experienced in all forms of vascular and endovascular surgery including management of peripheral arterial disease (angioplasty, stenting, bypass, wound management), management and treatment of aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy, diabetic foot management, varicose veins, thoracic outlet syndrome, dialysis access surgery, chemotherapy access (portacath insertion) and pelvic congestion syndrome (ovarian vein embolisation).
